Evaluating Psychometric Properties of the Coparenting Inventory with Turkish Mothers and Fathers of Preschool Children

As a result of the study, it could be said that Turkish parents' perception of co-parenting is multidimensional (i.e., cooperation, conflict, and triangulation), and a 3-factor structure was suggested to Turkish parents in line with this perspective.

The difference between mother and father in co-parenting dimensions was found to be that fathers perceived this concept as more cooperative and less conflictual.

Overall results suggest that the researchers and practitioners may use this measure to reliably assess coparenting qualities of parents of preschool-aged children.
